Individual Subscription Plan
You may subscribe to RED Calc Pro as an individual or as a team. The Individual subscription plans are renewed automatically, either on a monthly or yearly basis, until you stop your subscription. Each Individual plan includes a free, two-week test period. You may cancel your subscription during this test period before your credit card is changed.
Team Subscription Plan
Team subscription plans are a great choice for organizations, either WAP agencies or private organizations. As with Individual plans, they may be purchased on a monthly or yearly basis and are renewed automatically until the subscription is stopped. A Team must include two or more subscribed seats. If an individual occupying a seat is transferred to another department, her seat can be assigned to someone else. This transfer cannot be done with an Individual subscription; this is one of a number of advantages of Team subscriptions. Each team must have an owner/manager (the person paying for the seats), who may or may not occupy one of the seats. The number of seats in a Team can vary over time, for example, additional seats can be added as an organization grows (if seats are added by the owner/manager, these new seats must be based on the same subscription period as the existing seats, either monthly or yearly). If the number of seats is reduced, the eliminated seats will remain active until the subscription period expires, based on month or year.

I use the ASHRAE 62.2 tool for every weatherization job that we audit and QCI. Red Calc Pro Tools gives me the ability to create a specific job folder and load the information pertaining to the specific job at any point in the process and it is there when I need it. For QCI work, this drastically reduces the time I need to spend calculating the final continuous-run CFM or runtime.
When I QCI, I have everything loaded before heading to the job except for the final readings. Once I run the blower door test and complete the exhaust fan flow test, those numbers only take a moment to load in the field and instantly I have the finish data necessary to complete the ASHRAE 62.2 portion of the job. In addition, when I get back to the office, it takes just a few steps to generate the PDF report, save it electronically, and print out a hard copy for the client file.
I like being able to switch devices and still be able to have the information at my fingertips. I can use my smart phone while in the field and once back to the office, I can pull up the report using my iPad. I don’t have to transfer files from one device to another which is a huge time saver. I can also be meeting in person with my contractor and can instantly pull up the ASHRAE 62.2 report.

“I am an energy auditor, Quality Control Inspector, and consultant in the State of Ohio. The majority of my work is with the Home Weatherization Assistance Program and with local utility weatherization programs. In addition, I am contacted by private homeowners requesting assessment of their homes for efficiency and comfort.
The RED Calc Pro allows me to produce a report that is specific to the individual home and can be printed or kept as a PDF. The ASHRAE 62.2-2016 reports are customizable so I can include where the exhausting equipment is located or other comments. I can customize the report to state “Master Bathroom” or “Hallway Bathroom” which assists contractors, crews, and homeowners with information on the location and performance of the equipment.
I print the report and include it with the other paperwork / photos / drawings of the home that I have obtained. Even though documentation of the ASHRAE 62.2 testing is required for the Weatherization Assistance program, I feel that a quality, customized report showing what may be needed or that compliance has been met, sets my work and my company apart from others. This is even more important when working with private homeowners who are expecting to receive helpful information, either from data included in reports, photos, or other explanations as to why they may be having efficiency or comfort issues. A helpful report providing recommendations must be more than just words.
